Many derailleur chains use a “master link” that allows the chain to be installed and removed by hand. While this type of masterlink doesn't require a traditional chain tool, over time, dirt and corrosion can make it difficult to separate by hand. MLP- Master Link Pliers make removal and replacement of these masterlinks quick and effortless. Simply insert the specially sized jaws into the masterlink. Then squeeze the handles top open or pull the handles to close the link. Compatible with all 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12-speed derailleur chains that use a masterlink.
The project site is located within the resource-rich San Diego River floodplain. Challenges during the planning phase of the Mast Park Wetland Habitat Restoration project included negotiating regulatory processes oriented toward either site specific mitigation or the use of mitigation banks, as well as the last minute addition of a sixth development project into the restoration design. HELIX conducted evaluation of biological resources, restoration planning, regulatory agency permitting, coordination of land purchase, construction easements, coordination of long term management responsibilities, and production of detailed construction documents. HELIX implemented the restoration and grading plans, which included exportation of 35,000 cubic yards of sand, trash and debris clean-up, and non-native plant and tree removal to create ideal hydrological and soil conditions for native riparian plant species. Following grading and non-native plant removal, HELIX installed a reclaimed water irrigation system to help establish the more than 15,000 native riparian plants installed – all of which were collected locally or grown in HELIX’s nursery. Biologists and archaeologists conducted construction monitoring during the effort to ensure sensitive resources were protected.
After realizing we needed to replace our old a/c unit due to a leak that had gone too far, we called Mast to set up a quote. Cody came out promptly, was super nice and thorough, and made us feel good about the product we were purchasing. After going through all of the options with us, we decided to go for it. I was blown away when they were able to fit us in using the commercial crew only 2 days later! (As a side note, I'm 9 mos pregnant, and that string of 85+ degree days was BRUTAL, so I was SO thankful for this.) The installation crew of two came at 7:45am (right on time), and were out of here and all cleaned up by 10:45am. So efficient. We haven't used the actual unit yet since now it's a bit chillier outside (of course), but I don't anticipate any issues after the great service all around. Thanks, Mast!
